Meditation Guide

So, what is meditation?

It is a set of techniques that help people to be in the present, relax their thoughts and relax their minds.

How do we meditate?

There are many techniques like using a mantra, guided meditation or breathing exercises.

Here is what really annoys me when I hear people talking about meditation, and it does frustrate me even more because this is the way I used to think about 3 years ago!

Some people think that meditation is for monks who leave in the mountain or for people who live like hermits! Now, I couldn’t disagree more, I think the people who need it the most are the ones whom live in busy cities where stress is constant: external information, social media, life’s rush is embedded in our daily life and we desperately need an escape!

I have seen people getting cured from skin problems, depression, insomnia, food intolerance's by meditating daily.

Personally, I healed from 15 years of insomnia after just 5 days or daily meditation, I also cured my food intolerance's after just a few months !

But what frustrates me the most is when I hear people say “I don’t have time to meditate, I’m too busy, I’m not patient

Do we all agree that we all have 24h in a day?

Yes, we do, so this is all about HOW we use that time.

Today, I am about to share with you my top 5 secrets that cured me from insomnia, food intolerances and memory loss….

But first, know this:

Meditation is, before anything, a way to breathe differently.

There are two ways to breathe:

1- Unconscious:

We use the chest area, our breathing is fast, shallow, we absorb less oxygen and that causes stress.

2- Conscious:

We use the stomach, we slow down the breathing by taking a lot more oxygen in, it relaxes our heart beat and that naturally relaxes the body and our nervous system.

It’s a bit like a sprint (you breathe fast, no time to see what is going on around you, you breathe fast and focus on the goal) and a marathon (you breathe deeper, run slower but you last much longer and enjoy the view in the process 😉)

So, how about you? How do you breathe?

Are you guilty of shallow breathing?

How do you think your life would change if you were taking some nice deep breaths every day?

Meditation and conscious breathing saved my life: when will you start changing yours?
